Daily report metrics the same as monthly metrics

VMware vCenter Operations Manager

Version 5.8.3

Build 2076729

License Mode: Standard

We have had this running for most of this year. I've been running the "VM Average and Peak storage access latency" reports and have found that the metrics are the same regardless of the sample interval.

Anyone have similar results and/or know how to get accurate results?
