Hi guys,
we have 3 big hubs (North A., Europe and Asia).
Under each hub we have several smaller sublocations.
Each hub and sublocation has several hosts we'd like to monitor.
vCenters are planned to be consolidated from the sublocations to the 3 hubs only.
Due to high latency between the hubs we will end up with 3 SSO domains.
Lets say we want to use vSphere Ent. Plus with Operations Manager for the hosts in our hubs
and vSphere Ent. without Ops Mgr. on our sublocations.
I guess we can't monitor those with "normal" Ops Mgr., right?
If so, what happens if we want to use the "light" Ops Mgr. Foundation for those "not so important" hosts?
Can both Ops Mgrs. run together, how would you approach this?
Due to a limited budget we can't go for the best license option on our sublocations...
Also is there some kind of bandwidth calculator that can tell me how much and how often monitoring data will be transferred?
