Working with Alerts

Hi,

i´ve just upgrade to version 5.7.

Now, i have a lot of Badge | Time Remaining .. Alerts.

The Alert information looks like

" DATA STORE xyz has 0 days of usable Diks i/O capacity remaining"

or

DATA STORE is Over VM Capacity by 2 VM´s because of Disk Space Usage"

I am not sure how to handle these Alert. I am new to that piece of software.
