Has anybody had to shrink the size of the VCM database? Ours appears to be growing out of control, it's 71GB and we only have 280 machines licensed in VCM. I've opened support cases and they just keep recommending to follow the "Maintaining VCM after installation" which we've done with enabling autogrowth, set to simple recovery, and created the maintenance plan following the documented recommendations. My concern is the database has a lot of white space that needs removed, or old data that needs to be purged. I don't know of any performance issues we're having but the DB seems to be growing at a very fast rate. I'm not a SQL DBA so please include detailed steps on how to do this. Thanks.
