how to create an automatic report for a subset of hosts/vms

I have a need to create an automated report that will tell us if a possibly changing subset of vms in a cluster will run on a specific subset of hosts.

In this particualr case, we have a single cluster consisting of 13 hosts, 3 of which are located in a different building from the other 10 hosts.  I have created DRS groups and affinity/disaffinity rules to force specific guests to run in specific locations.  Guests that are not in specific DRS groups can run in either location.  That all works just fine.  The cluster SAN storage is also mirrored in the secondary location.

What I'd like to do is create an automatically generated report that considers a specific subset of guests, and in the event of a partial cluster failure (the location of the 10 hosts), is there capacity to run this subset on the 3 hosts?  I have managed to generate a custom dashboard in vCOPS consisting of the guest subset based on an Environment folder group, however, I can't seem to find a way to export that information in a pdf.  And perhaps I am going down the wrong path and there is a better method to generate the information I am looking for.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
