Many of the reports I'm running in vROPs 8 are showing empty output. See Attached. I have the Horizon adapter in place and its licensed. See attached.

vRLI Integration - Refused to connect.
Hello guys,
I integrated the vROPS instance in vRLI, and activate the integration of vRLI in vROPS :
The 2 « TEST » button work and give me back a « Test successful. »
But when I go to vROPS and click on Home> Troubleshoot> Using Logs
The vRLI home page appears inside vROPS UI, but after entering my credentials :
with vIDM credential : I get a grey page : "MY-VIDM-FQDN" refused to connect.
with vRLI local default (built-in) credential : Failed
If i try to login directly from vRLI with vIDM or Local default (built-in) account, the connection work.
Do you have any idea what's going on?

vRealize Dashboard only show red health
Hello
We've got this dashboard that shows the health of all our vms and hosts etc.
The guys in operations have to check it daily but as theres so much info they miss things.
How can I edit this to only show the red items and maybe include names below???

vRealize Operations for Horizon desktop agent install
We have a vRealize Operations for Horizon 6.6.1 environment. I am trying to install the 6.6 desktop agent. I need to do this silently on VM pools where the VMs that are dedicated. I know that there is an order of install for the Horizon agents (Install View agent first, then UEM, then APP Volume). Is there an order when you include the vRealize Operations for Horizon desktop agent?
As far as silent installing, the command I was trying to us is:
start /wait vmware-v4vdesktopagent-x86_64-6.6.0-9844216.exe /s /v "qn REBOOT=ReallySuppress /l*v "c:\temp\v4hagent.log""
I am getting invalid switch (not telling me which switch). HElp would be appreciated.

How can see usable resource after enable Admission control in VROPS
I have a question about HA resource in vcenter
My cluster contain 5 esxi hosts:
I have set admission control Host failures cluster tolerates = 2
now according to attach pic it just shows how much memory and cpu has been reserved from my Total memory capacity and cpu capacity but now I want to know according to admission control and virtual machines' allocate memories
How much available resource is in my cluster ? For example how much usable memory and cpu resource are available .
As Center cannot show these info, can I see this metric in VROPS or can I create new metric for that ?

Collapsed Widgets
I have vROPS 6.6.1 running in a Horizon 7.8 envrionment. I have the Horizon Adapter installed and talking to Horizon.
The issue I have is when I log into vROPS, all of the widgets in my dashboards are collapsed all the way to the left. I have to expand them all so I can see the data. Even after doing so, the next time i log into vROPS, they are all collapsed again.
Has anyone else seen this issue?

Unable to run vRO workflows from vROPs
Hello,
We are using vROPs 7.5 instance and have integrated it with an external vRO instance of version 7.6. We also configured vRO Management pack in vROPs and configured the same to execute workflows from vROPs using action. We are able to execute the workflows successfully from vROPs.
We had configured one more vRO instance of version 7.6 and integrated it with the same vROPs, applied the same process of integrating workflow execution. It's workflows have been discovered but we are unable to execute the workflows from vROPs. Every time we try to execute the workflow from vROPs, we get error message in vROPs Task that unable to find workflow with the workflow id.
It seems that when ever we run the workflows, vROPs contacts the first vRO instance.
Is there a limitation that only 1 vRO instance can be used to execute workflows?

Up-gradation Issues of vROPs 7.5 to vROPs 8.0.1
We were trying to upgrade vRealize Operations version from 7.5 to 8.0.1.
While performing the same, we got stuck in between the activity, at stage 5 and from there it was not proceeding further. All the pre-reqs are checked and on their place however upgradation got stuck.
We had considered all the pre-requisites of up-gradation, deleted all the impacted Management Packs, tried to upgrade it keeping the cluster offline and even online but it still gets stuck and does not proceed beyond stage 5. All the pre-checks have been confirmed.
Please help in identifying the issue.

I want to create alerts in my vROPs 7.0 which would track VM creation and deletion. I don't want to use vRLI in this specific case. Is there any way that i can create an event in vROPs for the same and setup an alert?

How to show objects from another adapter in our adapter on dashboard
Hi All,
We have our Dell EMC VxFlex adapter .
On Cluster usage dashboard under cluster widgets it collects all clusters objects present in vcenter adapter .
Is there any way to get only cluster objects which belongs to our VxFlex adapter.
In the following image you can see the cluster widgets displaying all 3 objects from vcenter adapter even though only 2 objects presents in our vxflex adapter

Use vROps for Automated Tagging
I am trying to find a way to use vROps 8.0.1 to identify machines that have a running process, and generate an alert if the process is running.
Is this possible? Would it require Service Discovery, or Application Monitoring through the ARC Agent?
Essentially, what I would like to do, is create a custom group that contains the VMs running the certain process, so I can create an alert policy for them.

Are you only allowed to evaluate the Standard edition of vRealize Suite?
I wanted to install an evaluation copy of vROPs for my company to consider for purchase. When registering for download, I was provided with a VMWare vRealize Suite Standard evaluation license key. Are we required to contact VMware sales if we would like to evaluate advanced or enterprise level features?
